Legal Foundation
- The International Contractors Association of Korea (ICAK) was established in November 1976 as a non-profit incorporated association under Article 32 of the Civil Act of the Republic of Korea.
- In April 1977, ICAK was officially registered as a corporate body pursuant to Article 24-3 of the Overseas Construction Promotion Act.
Purpose of Establishment
- ICAK aims to uphold the integrity of its members, protect their rights and interests, and support overseas construction activities.
- The Association also seeks to enhance international competitiveness through the collection, analysis, and dissemination of overseas construction information.
- By promoting the sound development of Korea’s overseas construction industry, ICAK contributes to improving the balance of international payments and advancing the national economy.
